"Baudevin’s friends and students are the first to benefit from his interest in music: from the richness of his record collection and from the almost obsessive manner with which he maintains it.  He has talked about several of his musical influences in previous interviews, but this aspect of his identity is mainly known by word of mouth - by those who know.  It therefore justified a publication, that is to say, to address a larger public, and to give Baudevin the chance to elaborate upon it for himself.  That is why our discussion is concentrated on music - following the chronology of his discoveries as a collector and allowing a complex web of connections to unravel."
